Vengala Srij Aayush read the numbers from 1 to 100 in 2 minutes 47 seconds at the age of 2 years 5 months 13 days. This is an impressive feat for anyone, but especially for a toddler who has yet to learn how to read.
The boy's parents were overjoyed by their son's accomplishment: "He is so intelligent and he always wanted us to read with him," the mother said. "When he saw me holding up a book, he would point out each letter and say its name."
The boy's father added that his son will be attending school soon and hopes that his achievements will help him get ahead in schoolwork: "He will also be able to help us around the house because he knows everything about our daily activities."
