Pulkit Goel had been studying hard for the Worldwide Book of Records challenge for months. He was determined to be the first student from his school, Ryg Sunrise Academy, to achieve a world record.
The challenge required him to be able to identify the maximum number of squares with their corresponding value in 1 minute. He had been practicing late into the night, but he was confident that he could do it.
On 12 January 2023, Pulkit and his family arrived in Faridabad, Haryana, India where the challenge was set to take place. As soon as Pulkit stepped into the room, he felt a wave of confidence come over him and knew that he was going to do this.
The timer started and Pulkit began working quickly and methodically, identifying each square with its corresponding value within seconds. He completed the challenge in just over half a minute and was declared the winner by the judges of the worldwide book of records!
