Vedashree Rohit Rathi was an exceptional 3-year-old toddler from Bangalore, Karnataka, India. She had an incredible talent for reciting the capitals of all 28 Indian states and 8 Union Territories from memory. Despite everyone’s doubts, her parents encouraged her to pursue her dream of setting a world record for the fastest time to recite all the capitals.
Vedashree spent months memorizing and practicing with her parents’ help. After rigorous preparation, Vedashree was finally ready to take the challenge to set a world record. On May 24th, 2023, she appeared in front of her parents in Bangalore and began reciting the capitals with ease and confidence.
The parents were left speechless as Vedashree completed the challenge in just 1 minute and 4 seconds, setting a new world record for the fastest time to recite all 28 Indian state and 8 union territory capitals! As Vedashree received a world record certificate from the worldwide book of records.
