Mani Raj Singh was a thrill-seeker who was always looking for opportunities to challenge himself. So, he decided to make a World Record of covering 18,500 km by car in a round trip across all Indian states and union territories, he knew this was the perfect way to push himself to the limit.
On 1 March 2023, Mani set out from Mathura, Uttar Pradesh with his Maruti ALTO 800 car filled with supplies and enthusiasm. He began his journey at full speed, aiming to cover as much distance as possible in as little time as possible. Along the way, Mani also documented his travels in photos and videos for posterity.
Over the following weeks, Mani drove through each state and union territory in India, passing through diverse landscapes and cities. He experienced both joys and hardships during his travels; getting lost on unfamiliar roads or taking wrong turns at times but eventually arriving at his desired destination; finding places with delicious food or discovering breathtaking scenery on 11 April 2023 he came back to Mathura, Uttar Pradesh and completed his beautiful journey.
